New York saved my life. Free to express myself through art, I became infatuated with the romance and allure NYC brought me.
Most of my early sales came from the train platforms, as I would spend hours and hours while I made artwork and displayed my finished pieces.
The trains were the veins for heart to stay pumping; true in every sense.
I was able to get an audience WHILE I continued my work. It was a struggle; but it beat knocking doors for ADT, my previous job.
Without the train lines, there would be no heartbeat for the city. It really keeps the function of the city in tact. Much like my personal story at the time. Without the train lines and the opportunity they gave me, there wouldn’t be a success story, and this website wouldn’t look this nice. Simple as that.
This piece MEANS the most to me, as New York truly saved my life. New York and the potential it brings keep the oxygen flowing.
