This dazzling display of embroidery is paying homage to the Bronx Bombers. 1970s-80s graffiti in tandem with a bomber jet from WWII. Bombing trains, air assaults, aerosol assaults. Painting it any different would be a disservice to the ones before us. The writers, the pilots, the baseball bat pumping, jacked up Judges of the world.
This patch pays homage to my first New York experience. I stayed at 183rd and Southern Boulevard, fresh off a 21 hour long bus ride.
Long live the Bronx Bombers, forever paying homage.
